This isn’t an announcement we ever expected to write.

Following the recent Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing of Painted Tree Boutiques, we were given only a short window to remove our inventory and close out our space. Like many small businesses, we had invested not just financially, but emotionally into that storefront, believing in the opportunity and the community it represented.

After taking time to process everything, we’ve made the difficult decision to officially end operations at Boozy Candle Co.

​

This chapter didn’t end the way we envisioned, and there’s no way around the disappointment that comes with that. But alongside it is a deep sense of gratitude.

To everyone who supported us—whether you purchased a candle, shared our brand, stopped by to chat, or followed along online—thank you. Every bit of support mattered more than you know, and it’s something we’ll carry with us long after this business closes.

 

We also want to recognize the many other shop owners impacted by this situation. There are so many small businesses navigating this unexpected turn, and they deserve support now more than ever.
